  • a few common mistakes here. your feet are to far forwards. its a myth that your feet should be under the bar, one thats been repeated so often nobody questions it. the bar should be just in front of your toes. you need to bring your arse down a bit when you start, your thighs should ideally be close to parallel with the floor when you start. your head should be up at all times, and your lower back should be arched, with your chest pushed out. also you need to retract your shoulder blades.
