Yeah, so I went for the obvious title. How could I pass up the opportunity to type that immortal one-word line in such a classy font???

It was a lot of work to get this one put together, but sooo worth it! An in-depth look at a truly worthy collector's edition for what some call "The Greatest Film of All Time!"

  • That music stand is filthy.

  • @Mankind081 Yes, I noticed that in the editing. Ah, the things that standard def used to hide...

  • You may have two great set of Citizen Kane, but I've actually seen it at the cinema (2 years ago, I might add). And it sure was impressive.

  • @M3n747 Daaaamn! That would indeed be awesome. Sadly, that opportunity has never happened for me... :(

  • Now, thats a box and a half :0

  • My dad just bought me this for my Christmas and I can't wait to check it out!

  • Are Warner Brothers one of your fave film studios

  • Have you watched it yet?

Overall, I think the transfer is amazing...especially compared to the DNR'ed, contrast-boosted DVD edition that WB put out ten years ago. The one thing that threw me off was the News On The March title card, which seems to have been redone with a new digital dissolve, rather than the original photochemical dissolve. It looks jarringly modern when contrasted with how faithful the rest of the transfer is to the source. But overwhelmingly, it's a great transfer.

  • Great premier video Shaun. Really fine quality structure and wonderful information about such an esoteric sets. Great Job Shaun. I would love to figure out a way to put a tip jar application on pages like yours. Good work bro
