This vid became a synopsis of my life story -- but was orginally just an "on-camera" audition for a "Reality" TV show (that never happened). I had no idea this video would find its way to (3) websites, but because it did, several men who saw it from around the world, contacted me and I've been able to help them embrace themselves and come-out with dignity -- including my current partner!! Whether you're gay or str8 or something inbetween, I hope you find insight, understanding, or inspiration too. Life is YOUR stage -- read your OWN lines -- don't let others read them FOR you.

Thanx. I'm glad to hear your partnered. I also hope the most you wish for is the least you receive. I'm a Navy vet (CTI2) I married because that was the thing to do. I applaud you for your intstinal fortitude! I just found your blog, Too bad it is not current, but I understand..... If I were in a relationship, especially a new relationship, I would think of hundreds of things to do beside blogging.

@ Scavullo: The guy in this video doesn't imply that he's "The shit," for being who he is. He just -is- who he is. He's just a masculine guy with an attraction to the same gender. He doesn't even play up his sexuality like it's anything gargantuan. He's himself. Which is a symbol, more than anything, that orientation doesn't have to be a subculture.

Just because you can switch something around linguistically, does not make it a valid statement, much less an accurate commentary on life in the real world. But word games can be fun.

@brainuppance I'm not surprised to see str8 men proudly vocalize their distaste for things "str8," like beer-bust Sunday, AMP's, rednecks, etc. We all grow up in the same heterosexual male dominated society. Many str8's feel if they have to be str8, at least make it palatable (if possible). I say see the good in all str8's, as long as they aren't hurting others. Not all jocks partake in or even agree with all aspects of beer-bust Sunday and Tim Tebow on his knees. It's a dude-rainbow of beliefs!
