Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress has to be one of the most underappreciated songs in Rock. It's a basic rock song with bass, guitars and drums and vocals andholds up very well against other songs of this era or any era

What a stroke of genius to have sexy comic book gals accompany this rock-n-roll classic! Kudos....it was a JOY to listen to & watch! @1959child Interestingly, CCR never covered this song. Sounds like them though, doesn't it? This song was written and preformed by the British rock group The Hollies, an unusual song style for them. It was, however, covered by Clint Black, T. G. Sheppard, Vince Neil and Rockapella. And yes, it is one of the great rock songs of all time.
