This Le Mans was professionally built a few years ago by Guzzi guru Pietro Marino, of Motori Di Marino. It was a full nut and bolt rebuild from the ground up - mechanically and cosmetically. I bought it as an everyday runabout in preference to having a modern-day machine, and in my ownership it's been as practical as anything out there. It's been easy to service, cheap to maintain, and it's never let me down. Starts first time every time, idles like a Swiss watch and it pulls like a train.
It's not a 'factory built MK1' so I guess it won't appeal to the purists out there, but that's precisely why I bought it. It's for the Guzzi guy who wants a bike he can use and not a garage queen. It's engine is to full Le Mans spec., and it's based on the (1981, VE) chassis of a Le Mans MK2.
Luvly bike. If my restoration comes up half as good as this, I'll we well pleased

Bloody hell Steve. That is cleaner than my new Griso! It's even cleaner than your MV, and that's saying something! Well done!
