no WTVS?

nice, am going to build one.

Try putting chicken wire behind your antenna. It should help with a little sound & reception. Also, Tru-spec HDTV filter on ebay can help improve your quality to your channels. I'm not doubting you know, I was just wondering if u know.
NOTE: Great video

or use hot glue!

Instead of sloppy glue, to cover the screws, try slicing cork from a bottle of wine say about 4 slices out of one cork, and screwing them to the screws. They look nice. Don't throw away your corks.

do you notice though the reception in the winter gets worse? why is that?

dude in Toronto you can get 35 HD channels with one of those antennas, basically I can get Toronto, Buffalo and rochester with a db8 on a 10 story balcony facing south.

You can see the difference plain as day... All I can say is you having nothing to lose but maybe $5 to build one and try it for yourself.

On some of these videos people are posting not to waste your time and that these are good only for five miles. Those typing this have not built nor tested one. I have built three, one for a friend, two for the home.
Five miles? I am 55 miles NW of Chicago and 50 miles SW of Milwuakee. I ran both coax leads in to a spltter/combiner I bought from Circuit city and into a signal amplifier from Radio shack. The amount of crystal clear channels received? 38. Cost of antennas? About $5.00.
Bill? 0$

Not exactly sure who or why they would post such a thing. I live 45 miles from Detroit and get awesome reception.
