"Ground Zero Mosque"-A question

let me know what you think. like i asked in the video, would the people who are against the "ground zero mosque" react the same way they are now if the proposed building were to be a christian or non-muslim worship center? comment or respond please. I'm not wanting anyone to start internet fights over this i just want to know honest opinions as to this hypothetical question.

No it would not be a problem considering the none Islamic type of people did not bomb us. It would be no problem if a non-Muslim church was built however personally it shouldn't be a church of any type at all perhaps a museum or something. It has been proven in history with this culture that to show the world they have conquered a spot they built the mosque right in the middle of the spot they conquered . No I am not racist or anything I just think they should build it somewhere else. GB

@2ravenf0x2 Muslims have never bombed us. 19 hijackers flew planes into buildings, not bombs. Just mistaking that fact alone, I question why you even bother to have an opinion on this matter. I can tell you haven't thought more than two minutes before writing your response down when your arguments are basically, "It's a big building. It's kinda close. They think we're weak. There history proves they build mosques when they conquer "a spot.""

What history? How many times has this happened?

@RashaTwain thank you for your input. i believe he's referring to cordoba, but the connection is weak at best. i agree with you, a few crazies gave islam and the muslim people a bad name and those words have become the new hot button in america. the muslim people are a beautiful people just like anyone else and have every right that anyone else should in this country.

@RashaTwain @sjaatime excuse me sorry for not being politically correct 19 claiming to be Muslim hijackers grabbed our planes and flew them into our buildings so sorry for not wording it correctly. I will also try to pretend you didn't say what history on them building Mosques where they conquered just to save from an argument that one was not asked for here. If you wish to argue we can take this private I can also tell you that history you are trying to ignore. Everyone has their skeletons.

@2ravenf0x2 now i'm not being angry here. i just understand things differently than you. that's fine. i'm fine with the building because i know that it's not a giant statue of osama bin laden holding up a middle finger to the statue of liberty while pissing on an american flag, like some seem to think it might be. i'm exaggerating of course but it seems that people take things to the extreme when talking about Islam and the muslim people.

@sjaatime Your right it isn't, it is bigger and grander then just a mosque and it just feels like it is a way to say we can spit on you and you are not going to do anything about it cause this is the land of the free and home of the naive. It may not be on the exact spot but it is close enough that to me feels like we are splitting hairs on its proximity.
