This is a drum set solo I wrote for my final project during my senior year of college last fall. ATTN: this solo was not written to show off my ability or fancy chops! That video will come in the near future. This is a collaboration of the many techniques I learned through my experience with college ensembles and drumline. In this solo you will find 21 of the standard rudiments applied to the full set. You will also hear a few Dream Theater and Metallica licks as well. @future1921 yes. He is playing an excerpt from a solo called "Know Em" which uses all 40 rudiments. We both studied music at the same University and he is my roomate.

It's so refreshing to find someone using technique in their solo! I've only been drumming since I was twelve (I'm 16 now) and I'm always looking for inspiration. I can't believe it's taken me this long to find your video! Great job!
