http://totalcyclingperformance.com/blog/ - Cycling Intervals with Bob McEnaney. I'm leading a group of indoors cyclists with focuses training 2 times per week. One day focuses on VO2 Max level intervals, and the other we ride threshold level intervals. This video is of our recent threshold interval session in which we rode 3 x 10 minute intervals right at Functional Threshold Power. It was a great ride, and you can see the effort the cyclists put into it.

  • Bet it'll get warm in that little place with everybody maxing their bikes out

  • @TheGitfiddlekid No no no m yman, as he said, after the 100% effort of maybe one minute at above 105-115 rpm, you shouidl rest three times the time you spun, meaning at least a 3 minute easy spin with little to no resistance. Best of luck.

  • @TheGitfiddlekid You should try making the rest period two times as long as you are putting 100% effort. It isn't the all-out intensity that works, it is the up and down 5% effort to 100% effort that kicks you into shape.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment. We'll look into a tripod for future vids

  • Buy a tripod...Distracting.

  • ride on!
