Well I wouldn't call it strong wake turbulence. Strong wake turbulence from a real heavy would flip that trike right over and could really give cessna 172 or a comanche some good bumps.

Wake turbulance is evil - you don't know it is therer until you find it. I was solo doing circuits in a flexwing when learning to fly and ended up at almost 90 degrees of roll in a split second after hitting wake turbulance. It taught me to keep well clear and wait 2, 3 or even 4 minutes depending on the size of the one ahead.

must have been a very large plane for the wake turbulance to last that long , but well done nice flying

Um, the Stearman is just about 2x faster than a Cub in both VNE and stall speed. Heavier, sure, slower? Not even close.

This was caused by Stearman, which is much heavier and slower airplane.
