@LincolnMuadib Ok you walk around outside and ill sneak up on you whle wearing my gi and white belt in Judo (or do you want a dobak with black belt in taekwondo?) and ill jump you and randomly attack you. Then see the results!

@dragonking700 I took a whole semester of it in college by a liscensed instructor. I would like for you to meet me and fight me. I will wear my uniform and belt and let see the outcome...

They're the same moves, the're just taught wrong. A round kick is a round kick. whether you use it to flick your opponent's face, tap his leg...or smash his knee knee joint...THAT'S what makes the difference.
Also, I would much rather spend a few thousand on something that will actually help me, instead of wasting 10 years of my life training in a dojo and spending money on belts, uniforms, etc.
And have you ever even experienced TFT training, or even read the TFT blog?

@LincolnMuadib ...thus, to prove a system works in self-defence, one needs to be in a situation where one is in danger. A sparring fight it will not be. "my responses were towards an idiot who said insulting and ignorant things towards me". Oh, call the Wahhmbulance, buddy. Leave your macho posturing at the door.

@MaharlikaAWA Actually, you are incorrect. Some styles of KM have belts. I suppose I could have been precise and pointed out that I have graded in, and passed, all Level 1, 2, 3, 4,5,6,7,8,9 and Level 10 grades and that comprises the system, as well as makes me the highest grade possible in the class, along with the other Level-10s, but that's a bit unwieldy to say. THus I use the shorthand term "black belt." Each system must be proven in the arena it was designed for. ..
-
@LincolnMuadib You do not have a black belt in krav maga because krav maga has no belt system!! Stop trolling...you are a disgrace to martial arts in general if you dont believe in proving a system or style works. All karate masters back in the day would spar people to prove it works. TFT never proves anything. You have no clue what it means to be a martial artist and you are full of crap. And my responses were towards an idiot who said insulting and ignorant things towards me. Try quoting him.
-
@MaharlikaAWA If I may quote you- "There has to be a few people near Arizona who would love to see this guy prove TFT will destroy all UFC fighters". I assume you are offering to fight him? After all, if I can once AGAIN quote you- "if you take a look at my profile you know I could kick your ass." That's YOU, starting fights over nothing. I reiterate- your sensei should be ashamed of you. I have a black belt in Krav Maga because I train hard and don't start fights. Try it.
-
@LincolnMuadib No I dont. Where did I say I want to fight someone who isnt threatening my life? You have a black belt in krav maga? How is that possible? If martial arts are about avoiding idiots, and not becoming one it did not work for you it seems.
-
@LincolnMuadib have you been violently assaulted? did you use TFT? If not then your opinion is invalid. ALso I have been violently assaulted and I tell you that TFT wouldnt work one bit. Ive been in a few self defense situations attacked by thugs etc...

@dragonking700 So why waste money training in TFT spending thousands of dollars when you can train in any martial art and get the same moves? Just change the mindset! Do you seriously think TFT has a better mindset than krav maga?
I'm a big fan of tft, but i hate how the news kind of distorts it, they are not learning any special techniques. They are learning a mindset, a philosophy. These are the same "moves" you will find in any martial art. the important thing is your mindset, not what 'moves' you use.
what makes this DIFFERENT is that they aren't just bombarding you with all these techniques, they're teaching you HOW to use any techniques.

A civilian is NOT held to a higher standard. And you dont "remember" -you just act as you´ve been training.
Read the TFT blog.
