im 12, and a vegetarian. my parents hate it, but it's my belief, and a way of life to me. i want to become a vegan when i am older...probebly when im out of the house.

Have you seen big dairies that make the milk they sell in super markets? I went to one in Indiana, and the cows did not look happy. They are kept in a barn all day and can't even go outside. The calves are taken away from their mothers a few hours after they're born, and they keep them in dog houses that are big enough for baby cows. They may not be in a slaughter house, but the life of a dairy cow is not so glamorous.
