I am fed up with people moaning about how you say PEECO... WHO CARES... at the end of the day you have provided us with something to learn HOW to make this dying art.... this is NOT a language lesson....THANKYOU... I am grateful xxx

love your work but it is "peeco.. as if you are saying pee and coco

Picot... hmm, I've now heard 3 different ways to pronounce the word.. Haha. When I say the word it sounds similar to "Pea-caught"... I agree that it doesn't matter how it is said, we ALL know what you are referring to. Your stitches are the only thing that matters, and you tat beautifully. :)

@PinkiePunkyBear i understand I am saying i wrong...i just don't remember to say it right because the picots remind me of picot fences. for some reason or another my tongue doesn't like saying pee-coh...in my eyes its tomato/tamato...

I have noticed that the folks who demonstrate needle tatting during a verbal presentation consistently mispronounce the word "picot." It is actually pronounced "pee-coh." I believe the word is originally French.
Very interesting way to make a split chain with needle tatting.
BTW... Picot (with the t at the end) is accepted. It's the way is pronounced in Spanish. :-)

@frivoliteenespanol thats good to know thank you.. i think it should be able to be pronounced differently according to where you are...or what your preference is... tatters know what your saying, so why not be comfortable :)
