I have been so busy with multiple projects, assignments and shift work that I have not been able to get as far as I hoped on editing the "Keepsake" video for participants. Once it is done I will post it as well as provide the IAFF with copies on DVD for the participants. FOR NOW... This is just a fun little opening segment for the more serious event news story. The event video will be the actual news story and closely follow five participants and include as much video of all the participants as possible. I am underway with editing this piece and will be posting it soon. Participants of this program were political figures, administrators and basically anyone who should know what firefighters have to do on a daily basis. Hopefully the event helped make the impression that when it comes time to lay out fire department budgets or grants the participants will have a better understand what the tools and needs really are. They will be able to make more educated decisions concerning matters of the department and it's people.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed looking back at one of my favorite 70's TV shows for the inspiration. Remember... this is just an opening for the DVD. The story will be more serious.
