I picked this up today for 30.00 at a yard sale. I think I am going to install a gas engine on it and put it back just in case. Watching BrooklynPrepper's video inspired me! Thanks for watching...

  • Did a little old lady only use this once a week to go to church?

    How many mile on it?

    But I like it.

  • @Hutzjohn Actually I got it from a younger guy! After the motor is on it, it will be pretty cool. Thanks for watching..

  • Want a real bug out bike? And not a toy, I mean? Well, get a mountain bike or a touring bike. that thing is only good for little old ladys to very slowly bug out from Dennys to the bridge club after the early bird special. Get real.

  • @daves4mtb1 I got mountain bikes, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, big and small 4x4 trucks, I do not need to get real! You got some much to say on this bike. Give me your address I will donate it you! After a motor is put on it I can pick you up walking and carry your supplies and drop you at Taco Bell. But thanks for watching buddy!!!

  • Well you have already got the cute little basket. You should get some streamers for the handlebars too...

My little girl loves it ! ;-)

  • @MrMoonites lol You sound like my wife now. lol

  • They tip easy. I rode my grandmas trike when I was a kid and dumped er a few times. Slow rider is what it is.

  • I like it. All the Haters will beg for it or steel it from you while your out working for living, I keep a small 20" with a pedal crank from a 26" and larger tire sprocket, chained in the back of my truck, small and painted very ugly, to ugly to steel, but rides great. If and a big If the SHTF happened while at work I would need to get from point A "WORK" to point B "HOME" and I have the means to keep it. Has anybody else thought of that. I still like your ride, multible modes of traveling.

  • That thing is badass. I wish I had it. Also, LMAO @ how you LOL everytime you call it a bug out vehicle.

  • i love it!! will be perfet for me to do de grocery lol

  • what a deal, these sell new around $250 on Amazon or Ebay last time I checked.

  • I'm glad to see others have had similar thoughts for transportation in a shtf world

  • mabee change the front forks over to a mountain bike front end with a shock, just a suggestion .

  • i would like to build a trike lol. i would put a small diesel engine on it out of a kabota lawn mower or something. you would probably get 100mpg out of it if you geared it right. never have to worry about spark plugs or wires, just change the oil and it would have more than enough torque to pull anything u could load on it. bags and so on. might want to put some kind of shield around the engine so you dont get burnt but it would be pretty sweet!

  • 2. This bike is more useful for a prolonged economic collapse, much like what Cuba went through, rather than a real bug out situation (but you know that). In a Cuba or Argentina type situation though, this bike would be awesome! It's a way of moving a modest amount of cargo from one place to another. You could even pull a bike trailer with it. It's harder to push up a hill than a standard bicycle though, so your motor idea rocks!

  • Nice one!

You can get both electric or gas engines for these things. That's a solid front fork so it's perfect for a front hub motor. I have a 2000 watt Phoenix brute hub motor on mine. The disadvantage is the range and charge time but if you keep it in your living area as I do, you don't want a gas engine (because of the smell).

Gas engines are cheaper and can be mounted on the front wheel They have both 4 cycle and 2 cycle engines. I'd go for 4 cycle.
