@RossHornbostel Not much of a difference except EF scale is based on average funnel winds not highest.

@MadHornetSeries They use the EF scale since 2006. It would be EF5 then. But if you like using the old F scale then it would be F5.

a tornado hit just outside of montreal, in point claire, i never heard of a tornado ANYWHERE near montreal but i did see the funnel start, only an F0 but still AROUND HERE??? either way im getting me some tornado insurance !

A couple was in the house, and they survived in the basement. Our team called emergency officials but we didn't go back to the house, since we were in a bit of a hairy situation ourselves.
