Russia has introduced scrappage vouchers to encourage drivers to trade in their old cars for new models and boost the country's ailing auto industry. But drivers don't like the catch - the new car has to be made in Russia. (Sept 25)

I recall as a youngster, we had a lada, it was used every day everything was ok as long as it was kept clean, I must say, my mum used it more than anyone in the family, it never got hot in summer or uncomfortably cold in winter, it was perfect for the job. Nowadays though, it's old fashioned to have a lada, most people use an under counter refrigeration now instead of having a lada.... shame... 0_o
