I agree, but the DI is dangerous to science like an earthworm is dangerous to a rhinoceros.

I wouldn't worry about science, its the kids that will suffer. But the region where DI operates is already considered a hole in terms of education. Is it worth fighting a scammer?

Yes you are correct regarding true science. But my concern is what will be viewed as science by the public. A public that less than half accept evolution.

They have as of yet failed in the courts. However, the supreme court has a narrow 5-4 vote regarding separation of church and state. Obama will not likely be able to change that, since those most likely to leave the court are pro-separation.

In addition there are still cases where creation is being taught in schools.

Jindal first proved himself a fool when he made fun of volcano monitoring, not realizing that many western states have active volcanoes that have, and will, cost lives and damage public infrastructure.

If enough kids are influenced against science then jobs will move overseas or the US will have to import talent . The ranking of the US in science and maths is very low to begin with. US students wont get entry to University biology courses, they wont have the essential knowledge, those places will go to overseas students. These organisations are very dangerous.
