To bad you didnt turn right on hwy 178. Trona California is where my Kids are! I've travelled that 395, Lots of movies made on that road!

Just before you said 395 I thought, that's the 395 lol. Desolate huh. That small desert village is Johannesburg. Just past that is Trona Rd. heading north. We go camping and dirt bike riding up there all the time.
