Just installd my HID KIT on my chevy traverse/low's & high's yesterday & i was having the same problem.i was messing with it for about a 1/2 hour getting it to turn on for about a sec or two, till i thought hey maybe i should try another ballast to see if it is the bulb or the ballast and the bulb turned on right away & stayd on...plugged that ballast into the 3-other bulbs i had & it was doing the same fukin thing..so i just hit up the seller on ebay & hes sending me another asap..bad ballast

Same shit just happened to me today bought xentec 6000k HID kit and switches ballasts around turned out to be one of them is defective or someshit so I told the eBay seller and there shipping me another ballast for free :D gotta love quality service got it from seller:lynoak_usa incase anyone is interested

its not ballast.. its bulb freaks

computer switching supply wont supply enough surge current to ignite the bulb

you need higher amp 12V source
computer power supply wont work, you need at least 5amps

YUP I BOUGHT THE SAME QUIT ONE OF THE BALLAST WAS FUKED UP

It was a bad igniter. got a new ballast and everything is working perfectly.
