In this clip we investigate a particular region on the far side of the moon located Southwest of Delporte and North of Izsak, approximately at S17, E117. Some (old) Apollo images show an odd-looking structure in this area, which played a major role in the "Apollo 20" story by the YouTube user retiredafb. Using the latest images taken by the Terrain Camera (TC) of the Kaguya/Selene lunar orbiter (resolution 10 meters per pixel), we reveal some more details of this structure.

  • Thanks for posting this--I was hoping that Kaguya had photographed that spot. This pic clearly shows there is nothing unusual there. Now if I could find a Kaguya photo of the Blair Cuspids...
