Thanks, WD. I'm not sure this song has gotten a whole lot of Harry Chapin performance exposure. Too bad. Cordially, John

Hello John, I have never heard this song before, but I love the lyrics and the tune. You have done a great job capturing the feeling and mood of the song. The effects help to enhance the feeling as well. I would like to have heard your vocal a little more up front, just my opinon. Good job. wd

An appreciative amen, Dwayne. Exactly how I approached this song; an attempt at an ambient sound with a slightly surreal echo-ish quality. This is one song I really like because of its bittersweet introspection. Again, many thanks. Most assuredly your friend, John

Hi John,
I like it!!! A very good rendition on your part my friend!!! I like the touch of reverb...I think it adds some depth to the song!!! Otherwise it would sound like a dead room...or very flat sounding!!! I don't mean sharps or flats either! lol ;o) 5*****
Best Regards,
Dwayne
I wonder how you fix it John, singing, playing, incredible. Good stuff!
Cost a lot of time, making this vid, I believe....

Thanks, Astrid. Not a lot of time spent on this number, really. Just a circular, layered sound attempt by ear...kind of extemporaneous. Can't you tell? Cordially, John

Can't beat a Harry Chapin song. Nice job, but a little too much echo...fuzzes your vocal. A very, very heartfelt rendition. Thanks, dear. Fondly, Claudia

I think I better refrain from recording songs in our jet stream wind tunnel...not working out too well. Glad you didn't catch the real gaffe when my fingers got caught in the guitar strings during the bridge. That's what I get for playing finger-style without picks. Thanks, Claudia. Reverb John

This song's a new one on me, but the lyrics are excellent, and the rendition's great.

Son of a gun...nobody seems to have heard this song but Jeff and myself. A really obscure treasure. Amicably, John
