  • WOW i have never heard of this band, i was only born in 1986. I love it... : )

    Thanks so much..

Im going to look further into this band and obtain some of their albums. Other bands i like - The Cure and The Smashing Pumkins.

  • Cheers and thank you for the comments.....yeah Cocteau Twins, they've been around since about 81-82...ENJOY they KICK!

  • There's nothing like the sound of Dead Can Dance or the Cocteau Twins. These two bands are extremely exceptional in their works. It is a shame that they had to leave 4AD for Capitol though. Thanks for posting this in its vinyl glory!

  • Thanks for the comment mate.........CHEERS!!!

  • I have never owned a vinyl because in my times were cassettes and cds which were "in" and now with digital music I had no idea of how good quality sound vinyls have.... In this video of yours for example, the bass lines of the song are neatly well heard, tons better than in my iPod :O

  • Cheers Mate.............I'll give you my insight on the industrial world. When something is invented, and it gets perfected...once you hit perfection there is no going any further, everything from that point gets cheaper and poorly constructed.they market it to the ignorant public as (The Shit!!)

    Cheers

  • just play it for god sake

  • i'm canadian and i like playing records that everyone has heard already, also i like hugggge cocks in my throat, so far in my throat i can feel them in my belly.

  • Nice! Interesting how their later vinyl releases (Heaven or Las Vegas and later) are more difficult to come by these days and more collectable than their earlier titles. I guess companies were pressing fewer numbers in the '90s. Four Calendar Cafe LP goes for $50-$75. Beautiful record from start to finish.

  • Yes, that song is a real gem.

  • Thanks, man. This is my favorite off four calender cafe. wish I still had records and record player (and a cigarette)!!

I too was introduced to the cocteau twins a long time ago (somewhere around 1987-88) and been a loyal fan ever since.

  • thanks Producer73!Loudness subtles convey so much better when music is played on a turntable :)

  • walking past a HI-FI store in 95 and they had this album shaking the windows... I walked in and stood with the sales guy in the sweet spot. the album ended he said you a fan? I said yeh.... he said this album sells a shitload of hi-fi..... pmsl

  • I'm from Roseville right down the road. I use to go to that Cheapo all the time. They had some of the best deals on vinyl. I live in Las Vegas right now, but I'm moving back to the Como Lake area in June. I haven't lived in St. Paul or Minneapolis for for 8 years and kind of miss it. I don't miss the cold and snow so I might be back here in Vegas come December. HAHAHA Maybe if I meet the right musicians and start a band I'll stay though. HAHAHA
