Malignant ovary

Just to be clear to everyone. This old video was taken during my university clinical training in an operating room. As far as I could remember, the ovary from that video was just taken off from the woman. I think they did either a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) or oophorectomy (removal of the ovary), in which case a malignant ovary. Another nurse scrape down the inside of the ovary (showing premature hair growth and some teeth if you saw it), which i know wasn't really very pleasant at all.

This is a human ovary? It is rather large to be human, though I have not seen an actual human ovary before. Definately unhealthy! Also, what is this nurse really looking for inside? It's not a Happy Meal!!!

also it looks more like a teratoma or dermoid cyst with the hair and all. Still can't believe you did that prior to path....

That is a cancerous ovary and they let you do that before sending it to pathology? What kind of doc allows that?
