  • @crocker011 Thanks Crocker!

  • what do ya suppose a tiller for a broadmoore is worth? are they hard to find? and where would i find a hood and grill for one, any web sites?

  • @colbycous01 There are many different body styles of Broadmoors. It's hard to answer your questions without knowing what year your machine is. Tillers are available, but not common on the smaller frame machines.

  • @ZippoVarga well, an ol guy GAVE it to me. its a 738. i have the tiller and the plow bracket. (no plow) no grill and no hood. since you seem to be the old simplicity youtube expert, im hoping you could steer me in the right direction to restore her.

  • @colbycous01 Your best bet is to keep an eye on ebay for the hood and grill replacements. The plows come up on there pretty regular also. These are really simple machines with about half the moving parts of a large frame, so restorations on them is a snap. I just freshened mine up with a hood and fender pan rattle can paint job. The rest of the tractor is untouched. Let me know how you make out!!

  • I just picked up my gramps 67 landlord 2012, it's been sitting for 6 years, but in great shape, i'm going to do a full restore on it, if you have any helpful links i would appreciate it. Yours is beautiful.

  • spraying the inside of the chute with silicone lubricant helps keep things moving eaiser too. Graphite doesnt seem to last long enough to make a difference. But at least with these you dont have to worry about 'finding' things under the snow. I have seen garden hoses come out in 9 inch chunks. Throw rugs tend to stop things up tho. But pull the junk out and get back to work. another brand and you will be buying brass gears to make repairs

  • there are major elements on this model snow thrower that were still used on the single stage models sold later on. The chute adjustment is identical. Under that side cover I owld wager is a nearly identical drive chain. That tensioner you threw is nearly identical to what is used on the garden tillers.

  • I have a couple snow blowers and a weather cabin that will fit on your newer Landlord and on the 7000 and 7100 series tractors

  • Sweet! wish my 2110 was running last snow season! Had plenty of it here in SE PA.

I usually use a liberal shot of Pledge in the chute. It doesn't stop, but it does lessen the plugging. You saw the driveway, so you know how much I have to blow. Imagine 400 feet by 12 foot by 18" !!! )-; Grinchey
