Hong Kong is the territory of the honourable Hong Kongese (Hong Kongers) that have resided there for a long time. Hong Kong is located underneath the Canton Province (presently known as GuangDong Province.) Hong Kong has a very unique cultural background, containing the first ever in history, (ethnic) Chinese-Western Cultural society. In 1842, one of the best times of the great pearl of Asia, was the starting point for all Hong Kongese, as they were about to enter the modernization with the aid and guidence of the mentor-like, Great Britain (United Kingdom.) From there on, Hong Kong became the pub of internation affairs, and used as the great golden bridge for foreigners to enter Mainland China (for trades, etc.) Hong Kong became famous, and soon recognized (along with Taiwan, Singapore, and Shanghai) as the "Four Asian Tigers" (also known as: "亞洲四小龍") This was due to its high growth rates, and thriving economy and modernization within the Eastern-Pacific front. Hong Kong went as far as being the world's leading financial centre along with Singapore. Alas, everything ended with the handover of 1997.
This video is solely about the Handover of Hong Kong, when the defence of Hong Kong was switched from the responsibility of the British, to the responsibility of the Mainland-Han Chinese (horrifying..) In this video, you see many (left-over) Hong Kongese waving flags, putting up signs, cheering for the liberation army, and waving to the soldiers on-board. Now, think for a moment, what is their TRUE intension? Why are they even waving flags if they hated the handover to the Corrupted Communist Mainland China? If a guy had a gun pointed to your head, and wanted you to wave a flag, would you? If you valued your (family's and your) own life, you would. If you gave a child a flag, and told them "all you have to do, is wave it okay?" I think they would (without question) wave the damn flag. It is because they do not want to upset the Communists. You can argue with the points above, but hear me out, what you CANNOT argue, is statistic, facts, and proof, that over 1/4 of Hong Kong's population fled Hong Kong prior to the Handover of 1997 and fled to DEMORCRATIC countries, such as Canada, UK, USA, and Australia. For this reason, it is undoubtingly because of the fear of Communist rule, and their corrupted rules that could have been forced upon the innocent Hong Kongese Society. Obviouslly, when most found that they were not able to root themselves to their migrated countries, they returned. NOT because they loved Chinese ruling, NOT because they loved the Mainland Chinese, but because they had no other choice. Many were afraid that of what happened in 1989 (Tiananmen Massacre where the Communist Chinese military crushed the protestors.) They were afraid that it would happen in Hong Kong, and they valued the lives of their family members, and decided, for their child, and their descendents, they had no choice but to give it a go, and flee Hong Kong. Those who left as early as 1986 found it easier to build a new family there, but those that fled near 1997 were mostly those who migrated back to Hong Kong.

If China collapse (hopefully), Far east will be very peaceful and truly prosperous. There will be Independent Hong Kong, Manchuria, Inner Mongolia Tibet and East Turkestan. Rest of the mainland may choose a more human oriented regime like Taiwan. Communism will be history. Hong Kongers are brave and smart they should never give up idea of independence without bloodshed. Long live Far East's Democracy Heros.
