this is unwieldy! try blend mode. Create first one and last one (the biggest one i.e. RED and smallest one i.e. blue) then use "Blend Tool(W)" from tool menu :) I prefer freedom in creating.

nice simple video but it would have been better with sound as resolution not good and sometimes difficult to read screen
