As a sports photographer for Getty Images, Harry How has worked most of the major events in sports: Super Bowl, the Masters, Olympics, and playoffs of every other sport. In Part 2 of our visit with Harry, you get a real look at the gear he carries to get the shots, that get the money. And if you want to get into this profession, pay close attention.

  • Can't believe that I watched the whole video of 9 minutes.. Sure is interesting for an amateur like me. lol :D

  • @WhiterDeath:

That's the 70-200mm f/2.8L iS. The 80-200mm f/2.8 lens was black. (Check Wikipedia) The70-200mm f/2.8L came out in 1995, the IS version in 2001. This clip is most definitely post-2001, given that he has a 1D Mk II.

The simplest explanation is that he made a mistake.

  • Great advice and very useful tutorial. You could do with a better video editor and cinematographer though. The video is a little shaky and not that pleasant to watch!

  • how much earns a sport photographer?

  • Part 2 is better than part 1.

  • surprised his lappy wasnt a mac. LOL

  • @ihateyaacov NIKON. . hands down, Both the D3 and 3s are superior to anything Canon has. ISO performance in HS gyms is the means test. Also, combined w/ a 200 f2 and you are set. Of course, Canon users may not agree :)

  • @gslusher did you really say check wikipedia? wikipedia can be changed by anyone with a computer. Never backup what you say with check wikipedia

  • I would like to know where I can get this "pad" for the monopod? the monopod itself is already purchased! :D

  • It would be helpful to tell the name of the tripod to the audiance :) I guess it is a NEOPOD N 84 but not sure. ;)

  • @JoostyBoy i know that is so true i can be on here for an hour watching others camera gear :)

  • @gslusher

It's wierd cause Zack Arias always makes the same mistake with his 70-200.
