The simple bar grate is easy to build and amazingly durable. It can be used with the Two-Can Assembly as a starting point to build several useful designs, from stoves to charcoal and campfire starters. Get a purpose! Learn and practice LannyPlans methods and skills so you can be the inventor.
If your stuck you can just slice slots in bottom of top can with a knife fold edges upwards. on bottom can opening you could use a knife for holes slotting to edge and fold inwards doing same with tin snips would save that filing and pounding.

Why not drill four holes and insert steele rods to support the pot.

I like the metal grate out made for these stoves, but I have found a few wire grill grates used in rice cookers that might work in the place of the homemade grates. I guess this means I may have to experiment I will keep you poste i it does or does not work. Once again I mut say great vieo!

Hey, I know even I a little old lady can do this! I l love the metal strapping idea and the bending jig. Thanks! I live in my rv in a wooded area, lots of dead branches all around, so why not cook my vegies with what's available instead of gas or electirc.

Lanny, everything you do is clearly the result of years of research. Your videos are clear and elegant, and your stoves hold promise for a great many people. 5/5
