There is certainly nothing amateur about this performance. It is superb, clean and musical. Performers can make cuts -- arrangers certainly do. Bravo for bringing our the work of a lesser-known master, too -- Martucci.

Thanks. I don't understand the almost total neglect of Martucci - his music seems consistently well-written. This fantasia is all the more creditable when you consider that he was only 17 or 18 when he wrote it.

You skipped some parts ;) .. Is this possible .. Like the ending!
But great moments! Bravo .. And a extra Bravo for the fact you're not a professional, but did so well.

My memory of this performance is a feeling I missed out a few bars shortly before the D major section - this was a small memory issue. The ending is a bit truncated because I used to feel that the page in Db major didn't fit in well with its surroundings. I'm planning on recording it sometime, uncut with proper audio quality sound.

your works are the examples how a youtube video should look and sound right. You are a great artist, someone to look up to. Can't believe you are an "amateur" though... :)

Thanks! I am honestly an amateur - I've not attended a conservatoire nor studied music at university. I've had some advice from a good professional teacher, however.
