I attended the town hall meeting by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama at B'nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton, FL, May 22, 2008. This video, while shaky (sorry - but it's amateur, not from TV), shows his response to a question about ending the war in Iraq, reducing Iranian influence in the Middle East, and dealing with personal attacks on his character and background, especially with regard to his support for Israel. If you're a Republican, then I understand why you won't vote for Obama (although I pity you for deciding to vote for a third Bush term). However, if you're a Democrat, then you're just being short-sighted and spiteful (I would assume you're a Clinton supporter if a Dem). Do you really believe that a McCain presidency (more war, more economic problems, etc.) would be better than Obama?

The comment essentially said that the Jews he/she knows were not anti-Semitic and most were Republicans, and I was trying to reply for clarification, since the comment didn't make much sense to me ...
