On July 21st, Congressman Geoff Davis spoke on the House floor against the Democrats' attempts to force speedy passage of their health care reform legislation, H.R. 3200, without Republican input.
The real problem here is our national debt! We have accumulated more debt this year than we did over the past two presidents combined! Republicans were blamed for the economy and we were told the $1.4 trillion was to turn us around. Now Obama and his flock want to add another $1.2T to that debt. This country will bankrupt! Expand Medicaid to include those who can't AFFORD health insurance on their own. NOT use taxes for those who choose not to pay for it, or for companies get out of paying
So Congressman Davis is outraged at the debate on health care but still has no plan. In his words, America demands real reform. We want real reform. Slow this thing down and give account to America for the kind of health care people need and want and that's affordable and accessible and not a government-run plan.
Considering 72% of Americans want a public option... what is the real problem here?
