Hey, just me singing 'without you', originally wrote and sung by Bad finger, but later made more famous by harry Nilson.

As i knew i would, i mucked up on da high bits, but anywayz

It is an unfortunately easy mistake to make in both reading the title knowing Harry Nilsson's version is a cover, and writing "... (cover)" trying to indicate that this video is a cover. I'm not sure people would prefer (cover cover) with you knowing both... But I believe best practice would be to have a more explicit title "Me covering Without You inspired by Harry Nilsson". Perhaps less ambiguity, but nice job making the effort of trying to show respect where it is deserved.

This isn't a Nilsson song. He actually covered it too. It was by Badfinger

but this is a cover of his song? Mariah Carey stole Nilsson's thunder. It's nice to see somebody actually saying the original artist that originally came up with the song. I know it's a cover because it says it's a cover.

i agree with bushpic: don't say in the title, it's the original (and yes, i read the 'cover'), when it's not.

though, you still can sing and play, but it's far away from the passion of the original.

Don`t promote Nilsen, when it is not! You are weclome to sing at kareoko, but do not post yourself as Nilsen.

I'm not too familiar with the Nilsson version and I do love the Badfinger version (I haven't heard any covers that I've liked as much as that original).

And, just in case you or anyone else doesn't know, Pete Ham and Tom Evans wrote this song. Ham wrote the verses, Evans wrote the chorus and, one day, they just stuck 'em into the same key or something like that!
