actually it was OU #1 vs #2 NU
the year before in 2000 when they matched up it was NU #1 vs OU #2

No actually it was #3 NU vs #2OU; Miami was #1 in 2001.

I was referring to the AP Poll and those were the rankings. In the BCS, however, it was #1 vs #2.

In 2001 AP OU #2 vs NU #3 but the BCS poll was OU #1 and NU #2.

Hands down the most exciting play when I was a student and the loudest I've ever heard memorial.. I was about 8 rows off the field in the student section near the end zone at that game..we will be top ten again soon..
