I believe this was footage filmed by Mal Evans (the Beatles Roady and security during tours). A suitcase full of Mal's collectables has been making its way to the public and I think this footage is one of those.

I think this footage is from the Mal Evans Archive. Who else could have got such great shots from both the afternoon AND evening shows??

I think this is the soundtrack to this 8mm film. The songs change when the scenes change, like it was edited into short clips of the songs.

Very good and well dubbed with the sound added to silent Super 8mm? cini film - also good to see the stage setup was much bigger than first thought - you can actually see NIPPON TV cameras recording the event at the foot of the stage.

how cool..how did you obtain this? was the actual film silent and you dubbed it from the Budokan video? You dont see angles like those on the video thats being sold around.
