@jmoney321123 You said 2010 corvette, so I compared a 2010 vette to a Skyline R35. The '97 was even slower.

@jmoney321123 That's not the point man, who cares which is faster between a drag car and a drag bike! THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT AN OLD SKYLINE VS A NEWER CORVETTE. And a 2010 corvette only runs a 12.2 in the 1/4 mile while the Skyline runs an 11.8 . So a 2010 Corvette is most definately is not faster. A Z06 or ZR-1 might, but it comes down to driver on those. @jmoney321123 That's why i said slicks at a track are a diff story, and also "stock block". Dragsters are a shell of a car with a motor that 100% of the time did not come from the factory in the car!! But this video is not of a dragster, it is of a skyline and a corvette, which is what i'm talking about...street cars.Stock block Skylines are a more potent car than stock block corvettes. A top fuel bike is faster than a dragster and so are those jet engine cars, and so is Superman,all extremes.

@jmoney321123 Skyline is AWD so no RWD will ever accelerate faster, that's for the 1st two gears, then if the V8 has more power it will catch up and pass. Slicks on a track is a diff story. Stock block Skylines can run low 9's, that's from the late 1990's until today. I think a GMC Cyclone or Typhoon would stand up to a Skyline better than a Corvette. The Stingray body dis cone in a VGX trim which was the factory V8 with a HUGE turbo and AWD, that thing is a beast!
