It Donned On Me's official entry into the 2009 San Jose 48 Hour Film Project.

Produced entirely between 7pm, August 14th and 7pm August 16th.

Criteria:
Genre: Surprise Ending
Prop: Piece from a board game
Line of Dialogue: "Tell me again why this matters?"
Character: Zack or Zelda Alexander, Exterminator

Shot on the Canon 5DmkII with the 24-105mm f/4 IS L. Audio recorded dual-system on a Zoom H4n and synced in Final Cut Pro using pluraleyes. Primarily existing lighting with a Comer CM-LBPS1800 for fill, mostly shot at ISO 1250-1600. We ran out of time to color correct so this is 98% footage straight from the camera.

  • i liked it, especially the use of the scrabble pieces when he comes back to the office and it says "im watching you." great camera work too. what group were you guys in?

  • Thanks! We were group B, screened on wednesday night.

  • nice hope the screening went well. was surprise ending a regular genre or wildcard? we drew from wildcard this year and got foreign film

  • Surprise ending was a wildcard - we originally drew western/musical and figured we didn't have the resources to pull of either very well. I just watched yours - great job!
