If you think Eric "Banana Death Squad Inc" Holder and the rest of Obomba-Corps(e) are going to "stop the torture" then you're fools.

goldman-sachs EXPECTS its ROI for all the $

these people were not (s)elected by wall street to "end torture" - they were selected to put a "new face" on the same old bottle of imperialism

asking them to "change" is like asking (politely, of course!) a shark to desist from eating flesh and to become an herbivore.

good luck making herbivores out of carnivores

There was another attorney at the Office of Legal Counsel, Robert Delahunty, who co-authored the earlier legal memos with John Yoo which set the framework for torture. Yoo and Robert Delahunty advised the Bush Administration to ignore the advice of the State Department in declaring that the Geneva Conventions could be circumvented. Delahunty now teaches law at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.

To poor sweet Rifqa With legalese Evangelical Christians use the Bible & legalese to convince Americans that so called Enhanced Interrogation techniques which constitute torture & abuse are not in fact torture -because as "relativist Christians" argue it is all a matter of perception-so much for Christian Americans & their bizarre attitude that the U.S. has a right to abuse & torture human beings as it sees fit-Praise The Lord & let's torture just for fun -Cheney got off on it ??? GORD.

Absolutely!

The constitution is interpreted by the ones in power and it ain't we the people.

And it is coming. Here is Charleston,WV, voted a dying city, the most polluted, unhealthy place to live, losing population continuously, where we have no real crime beyond purse snatching, the SWAT team is preparing for a terrorist attack, allegedly to be carried out by a concession worker at the Civic Center-home of concerts and Jehovah Witness revivals.

The police, working to protect the business interests, are the biggest threat around here
