As for god sending gays to hell, God apparently loves all his creations, and if god did exist he would have a higher plan for people, than to send them to hell for showing love to someone else. I'm sure the christian God teaches to love thy neighbor. Pretty sure there were no exceptions listed. Besides, the only reason there was was anything in the bible about condemning homosexuality was because the people who wrote it (yes, people. It did not mystically fall down from the sky) were concerned about the species continuing. Now we no longer have to worry about that, so technically the bible's outdated. If anything, we're overpopulating the world.
