"A little cold" was in April, and it wasn't too bad in a wetsuit. i went down in an inflatable kayak at 5500CFS water flows. Now (July '11) the flows are around 3300CFS. DIFFERENT RIVER! It changes so much!

Kchung, best time to go depends on what you want. Best time for folks that want a little fun are the warm, summer months. As a guide, this year I LOVED going down in April, May & June. The water was REALLY BIG!!! And i didn't mind being in a farmer john and a little cold. my friends like going in the winter with dry suits, with few folks on the river.
Depends on what you want, but best time is to go as early as you can bare the weather. May/June water is bigger than July/Aug, but still warm.

My son is beautiful in this video. He is easy to spot. He has a white Mom....the only Ethiopian in the bunch. The rafting was cool too. But, earthTrek is better!
