Up for Auction November 4-6 2011. www.richpennauctions.com. 2007 Chevrolet HHR Panel Truck. General Motors designed this vehicle both as a small station wagon and also as a small panel truck. Both replicate the 1950's 4-dr style Suburban and a 1950's style mini-panel truck. The small station wagons outsell the panel trucks by probably 100 to 1, which makes the truck more unique & desirable. The owner, being raised in the 1950's, sought out the best air-brush artist he could find. Together they collaborated on a "Fab 50's" theme. The drive side illustrates the 1950's drive-in restaurant w/a parking lot full of cars of that era. The passenger side depicts a drive-in theater w/40's & 50's cars. The engine is shielded w/a custom cover that shows an air-brushed jitter-bugging couple w/her in a poodle skirt & him in a T-shirt & rolled cuffed blue jeans. The rear compartment of the truck has a simulated 1950's juke box w/neon sign reading "Back to the 50's". The sound system includes a 4-channel 600 watt Kenwood amplifier, a 375 watt power inverter, a 10 disc CD changer w/remote, along w/12" x 8" speakers & ORB expansion LED light bars. There are also 2 drive-in theater outside speaker stands that provide a sound so powerful that you can hear the music blocks away. This truck is a fresh restoration that has never been shown. It could be used as an income producing opportunity for it's new owner, a disc jockey at car shows, etc., or it could be merely be owned, shown and enjoyed as the ultimate one-of-a-kind street rod. Also included are the orig rims & tires.
