This number was one of the highlights of the evening - the only one with the horns. Nobody motors like Handel.

Wooooo! I had heard that Monica Bacelli had been the star of the piece... that was a great performance..... even though this is a Carson production it is somewhat static... it leaves the singers somewhat naked... Bacelli really is exceptional here and makes up for the lack of stage craft.

Stunning! Thanks for posting!  Must have been a bi-och gettin that in the theatre and gettin away with it - but unfortunately, not every singer or conductor/orchestra records their productions, so that's where guys like you come in!
