do all auto watches have the feature of winding the crown in addition to the pendulum power?
-
wait
so if in the automatic one, the pendulum thing goes back and forth, can I accidentally unwind it by making it spin in the wrong direction?
-
@guitarMclassical No.. I believe they use a clutch mechanism to prevent overwinding.
-
can you convert one to another, say a manual wind to an automatic. If its just a case of an offset weight to turn the mainspring, surely it could be possible in theory?
-
@guitarMclassical NO.

@LegendaryLvl1 are u stupid? that makes sense
-
@guitarMclassical No, there is a clutch inside the watch that prevents you from overwinding an automatic. So technically, no, you can't overwind an automatic.

Quick question,
With the Automatic watches, is it possible to "overwind" it by turning your hand TOO much?
