  • IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!!!!!!!!!!

I think my sisters and I wore this 8 track out more then once!

I loved being a teenager of the 70s

  • @vipsanchez Na, all the other were not unknown...Michael Des Barres their british singer was a child actor and play in some movies in the 60s and 70s...His father is from a Noble family (of long ago French origin)...but he only grew up with his mother...even if he was officially called at birth Marquis Michael Des Barres... He then became the singer of Silverhead ...a heavy glam rock band who made 2 respectable albums in 1972 and 1973 ...then he arrived in america in 75 and formed Detective...

  • @BohemianConspiracy Oh yeah, most of that was terrible, and anyone who knew knew that! (Brothers In Arms was good though!) However, there was a lot of good things going on mid-80's. I mean from 1984 and 1985, which were the last truly great years, through 1986 to 1987. There was good stuff happening, and it was at that nexus when we could draw upon and love all of the magnificence (be it mainstream or underground) of the 70's ad early 80's, but before things went truly wrong in the late 80's!

  • @SKOTP69 so you were not listening to motley cruel hehe ... or not so good Dire Straits mid 80s stuff !? ... or was it even worst ...some hair metal bands like Poison or Halloween... this was the end of rock n roll ...even the once good Judas Priest lose their way after 1984 ...and there's plenty other exemples...
