Tom Lindquist serves as the Associate Director -- Consortium for the RDPC. He has an M.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University. Tom is a public safety professional with over 38 years of experience in law enforcement and homeland security. He started his career in law enforcement with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. He also served as the Director of Safety and Security and Chief of Police at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. In 1977 he became the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police at Eastern Kentucky University. After a long and distinguished career he left EKU in 2004 after 27 years of service. In 2005 he accepted a position with The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training where he served for over two and half years as Executive Staff Advisor with the Kentucky Community Preparedness Program, a Kentucky Office of Homeland Security initiative. In this role he led a team of community preparedness assessors conducting risk and vulnerability assessments in communities throughout Kentucky.
