That's one beast of a camcorder,Looking forward to the review and test video's for the quality,as for those "Core's" tom,one goe's at one end and another goe's at the other end,The wire has to be wrapped round the core one each end before snapping them shut,so inside the little channel of the core's has to be the wire your putting it on sort of over lapping them in the channel,say side by side,then close the core clasp,hope this help's :)

you are right but the cores are not tight they slide all over the cords so not sure I am using them right. BYou would think they would just build the wires with them on them already.

oo nice - i always wanted one of these... but think if you are holding the gun style for a while will become uncomfortable - at least with the other style it just sits in your hand in the strap!

You know bunny I thought the same thing but after using it all afternoon I notice my arm gets less fatigued than the other way. Just doesn't seem like I need to hold it up all the time. I notice my wrist didn't get as sore either. It does feel kind of strange to hold at first after so many years hold a camera the other way.
