The bark of a famous MV Agusta 500/4

Starting this very special MV Agusta 500/4 in the pits at the 2009 Bikers' Classics meeting at Spa.
The wall of sound unleashed when the engine finally fired was simply stunning! This was one of Phil Read's rides for the day.

@laziosociaria I thought so too, until the bike is rolled off the stand toward the end. The fourth pipe is there.

@laziosociaria, from minute 2.22, there are four MVs; from left to right; the experimental 350cc six cylinder (1972?); 500cc four cylinder (1974); another 500cc four cylinder (1975) and on the right it might well be a 500cc three cylinder in 1973 configuration (front disc brake and wire wheel -likely Read's bike or a reserve. Agostini's bike was equipped with a magnesium front wheel in '73.

Those 500cc fours are engrained in my memory since I saw them first in the 1974 Assen paddock.

But why the barbaric treatment here? I remember that the MV mechanics had the engine spinning with one short push.
