Such a rare clip. A song from the "Hearts and Bones" album that was supposed to be a Simon and Garfunkel album.

  • Finally...Do you have any of the live versions of the Hearts & Bones/Think Too Much tracks that were performed on this tour. I recall them doing the faster Think Too Much, Song About The Moon, I think The Late Great Johnny Ace...and at least one more, maybe two (we were all thrilled)I've seen 4-6 tracks on live boots from the era. Thanks & Blessings!!

  • Well, I have Cuba Si, Nixon No, live, they dont have a studio recording of it, but i will post it, I also have Groundhog. And I have the entire album of Hearts and Bones, but a lot of the songs were unfinished and don't include Art in any way. But i do have a live version of "Think to Much (a)" "Late Great Johnny ace" I already posted Song About The Moon. I will post all that i can for you.

  • Wow, I've long heard of these "lost" tracks. I heard Garfunkel had also done vocals for "Song About The Moon" and a few others. I don't suppose you have any more?

  • I do have them, but Arts vocals arent as obvious a lot of the other tracks. Song About The Moon, u can hear him at the verse "The laughing boy he laughed so hard...." but other then that, the song is about the same, but i will post them so you can hear them.

  • Saw them play this live, very dissapointed the lp didn't include Art.

  • 2 people like emeniem!

  • Very interesting to hear this version of 'Cars Are Cars' - I actually like it a lot better than the released Simon -only version, which I find rather sterile. I think there is a real drummer on this cut, presumably replaced on the final version with the wetfish Linndrum?

The vocals have way more attitude and its really nice to hear Artie sing 'But people are strangers...' and then Paul cuts in with 'they shut down their borders..'

Hearts and Bones is a flawed masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.

  • Oh it's a live one, okay.. Garfunkel

  • This is the best Paul Simon album. IMHO

  • BTW, it was said to be one of Paul's worst selling albums albeit the great songs. Me I think Rhythm of the Saints was awful.

  • No garfunkel, just Simon..

  • wow. never heard this one before.. kind of makes me sad that art's contributions to hearts and bones were removed :(

  • this stinks
