actuaqlly...he did it to just save Kiari.....then Kiari saved him...then the castle started crumbling and such...so Leon reminded Sora "lock the keyhole!"...so he did.

he needs to stab the keyblade in sora so he can release kairi's heart so he can finish opening the keyhole then sora stabs himself with the darkness keyblade since he needs to free kiari's heart so the keyhole can be finished that way he can lock it
