Back To December - Jemi Story; Episode One

Hey! Its been a long time since i posted anything but im back writing again

December. The one word brings back so many memories. Memories of him. Memories of us. Memories of what we had. Every thing changed. Was it my fault? Maybe. Did I do something wrong? No. All I did was accuse him of cheating because my best friend ; Selena ; told me that he did. I trusted Selena with my life and I knew she wouldn't lie to me. Joe denied it of course. Me and Joe had something special. No one else really understood it. Me and Joe had been dating for 2 years. The last 2 years of school, then on graduation I found out. I left, I made the excuse I was going to check out the college I was going to. To settle in and make new friends. It was the reason, wasn't it? To me.. No. To everyone else.. Yes. Well that was 2 years ago. Ive been without him for 2 years. I shut myself out of his life, he tried to get in touch but I never answered my phone. Selena tried to call too. I never answered her calls either. One of them lied to me and still to this day I don't know which. Now im back in LA I want to find out but do I want to go back to that life? Coming back to LA was definitely a last minute decision. I havent even planned anywhere to stay so right now im in a cab on the way to my moms house. I hope she'll let me stay. I knock on the door when I get there. A girl answers; she looks about 20, the same age as me. I recognise her face from somewhere

?: Can I help you?
Demi: Yes. Hi im Demi Lovato and I was wondering if my mom still lived here?
?: Oh Well um-
Dianna: Selena who's at the door?

My mom looks at me and smiled wide

Dianna: Demi!
Demi: Mom

I walk towards her and hug her. She wraps her arms around me and hugs me tight.

Dianna: I missed you
Demi: Me too.
Dianna: What are you doing here?
Demi: Well I just got back in town and I was wondering if I could stay here for a few days just until I get something sorted out?
Dianna: Of course but you'll have to share with Selena
Demi: Of course
Dianna: Come in Dems.

I walk in trailing my suitcase behind me. The house got nicer, it looks a little bigger but its definitely nicer

Dianna: James! Come see who's here?
Demi: James?
Dianna; Dems I got married
Demi: You didn't tell me?
Dianna: Well no but-
Demi: Its fine

I fake a smile. How could my mother get married and not tell me? Its crazy. The guys walks towards my mom and kisses her cheek. I frown but fake a smile when she looks at me. This guy look familiar too. Just like that Selena girl. I only knew one Selena but she was always talkative and she lived with her mom so this couldn't be the same girl

Dianna: This is James Demi. James this is Demi, my daughter
James: Its nice to meet you
Demi: You too.. Im going to go put my things in the room im staying in
Selena: I'll show you where it is

I followed Selena up to her room. It was nice, the kind of room I would have if I had my own place or the kind of room I would want to have. She just keeps on looking at me. I have to find out who she is and why she looks so familiar

it's definitely selena, well they said her name so of course it's selena, i meant the selena she knew, you know what i mean
